At the
start of the 1600s
a few men and women from France come
to Canada to found a settlement. The native peoples, treated as equals, welcome
them. A great social experiment is begun, then falters. The colonists find
themselves in a fight for survival against hunger, the Devil, and the Iroquois.

Devil. The Jesuits’ only hope is to find the bone of an Irishman dead 500
